An angel’s unfinished mission on Earth, a young woman’s yearning to be complete, the evil will of an emissary of darkness—these threads weave together where two worlds intersect in a magical tale of love and hope, resolve and commitment. The Lowlands of Heaven is a classic tale of Good vs. Evil, a glimpse into a world “halfway to Heaven,” and a Christmas story. Haunting and lyrical, mystical and romantic, this masterwork of high fantasy will linger with readers long after they have read the final chapter.
We have all felt at one time or another like a vital piece of ourselves are missing. Kate is trying to come to terms with that feeling. She isn’t quite sure what it is that is missing, but she knows that something isn’t quite right. So she sets about to figure out what the piece is.
Sam is a pilot who Kate enlists to help her on her quest to find her missing piece and to help the children of the world. And add to the mix Laurel, an angel who is sent to assist Kate and to give her the missing piece.
I really loved the build up in this story. The pace starts out nice and slow, but quickly builds up in intensity.
The characters were wonderfully developed. I really felt connected with them.
This is definitely an author to watch!
