As many of you know, I am on a mission to drop the weight before I hit the big 4-0 this year. So far, this month has been a real wash on the workouts. However, I think not being able to eat solid foods for about a week sort of equalizes the weight loss.
However, before I had gotten sick, I had the chance to do this fabulous cardio workout routine. Rumi has several different workouts available on her site. Each one targets different aspects of the body and weight loss.
In fact, she even has a recommended set to do for each day of the week and having the weekend for rest.
The cardio workout was kind of rough but it was fun and didn’t seem to take too long. Even though in total it is half an hour, the time seemed to fly by quickly. That’s always a good thing.
The cardio workout is actually a set of six exercises that you do in sets of three. The warm up takes four minutes. The actual routine is 25 minutes. Then the cool down period of another 7 minutes.
One of the things I liked about it was that it was not completely aerobic. It was aerobic broken up by strength training. I had seen quite a bit about this type of workout recently. It seems to really do the trick.
If you look through her site, you will also find tons of great diet tips and all different wonderful things that are there just to help women lose the weight.
The videos can be downloaded straight to your computer. If you do not have enough room near your computer to work out, then you can burn them onto a DVD and play them on your DVD player.
