Welcome to Beandom! It’s a great place to visit. Or, it will be — just as soon as we get rid of that pesky monster! The message of the story is: Follow your convictions even when others think differently.
Ben absolutely loves this book! He is at the age where he can read the book by himself. There were some words that took him a little longer to sound out.

Thomas and Peter Weck spun a memorable tale about Beandom and how they used their ingenuity to save them from the horrible Megasaurus.
This is the first in a series that the Weck’s plan on writing that are going to address issues such as honesty, tolerance, courage, and many others. I think it will be nice to get to know these characters and others who may happen to live in Beandom.
One of the things that I liked about this book, besides the cute story, was that in the back there is a section that has questions to ask your children before reading the story, during the story, and after you have finished. Then there are some really great activities to do as well.
