Things have been looking up a lot lately. I am very thankful for that.
Right now, I have been feeling better then I have in a long time. Well except the fact that my legs feel like rubber from exercising! LOL! It felt good to get moving again. I did the Jillian Michaels Wii game. It was a rough workout since I hadn’t exercised in ages.
Instead of starting out at 5 minutes which is the minimum, I started out at 15 minutes. That probably wasn’t the best thing to do. She gets you moving and they are fun exercises. I think the one that did me in was the paint ball. You have to do three quick squats to pick up the paint ball. Then you have to lean and throw to aim towards your target. And if you aren’t fast enough, your character on screen gets splattered with paint. So of course, since I am a gamer and competitive in nature, I had to try to not get paint on me. There were a few times when I got hit. But otherwise, I did pretty good.
It was a lot of fun. The other one I do is Wii Fit Plus. That is tons of fun as well.
I have been reading a ton of books again. I just finished another book by Fern Michaels. She is a wonderful author. I wish I could come up with plot lines like she does. This one was called Trading Places. It is about a police detective who was shot in the line of duty along with her K9 companion and her partner. Her partner did not make it out alive. She believes they were set up and has it in her mind that she wants to clear their names and find out who did this.
My daughter, Becky, got accepted into a Student Ambassadorship program. I am very proud of her. She is extremely intelligent and very personable. We are hoping that we will be able to raise enough money for her to go next summer. She even set up a little blog about it. I am not sure how much she is going to blog before hand. I am hoping to talk her into writing more about why she wants to go and what she can get out of it.
I am going to be starting on Organic Liaison. This is the weight loss system that Kirstie Alley is promoting. Hopefully my first shipment will come in on Monday. I need to do something to lose this weight. Now that I am feeling better, it should be much easier to lose it. I checked the ingredients, there is nothing in it that would be contraindicated for my conditions. Its all natural and gluten free. I am determined to lose the weight before I turn 40. So I have 1 year and 1 month to do it. That is 13 months to lose 110 pounds. I don’t have to lose all of it. I will be happy if I can lose even 50 pounds by my 40th birthday. Just losing a pound a week should bring me down aobut 55 pounds. However, I seen people on that site blogging that they are losing much more then that. So I am very hopeful. I can’t wait for my thin self to shine through again.
