As I had mentioned in my post yesterday, I was reading book 4 in the Scumble River mystery series.
This one took me much longer to read than usual. Mainly because I just had so many things going on in my life at the moment.
It’s Bi-Centennial time in Scumble River and they have an extra special guest this year who ends up extra specially dead. Once again, school psychologist Skye Dennison gets caught up in solving a murder in order to help clear someone’s name. Only this time, its her ex-fiancée that is in need of the help.
Not only do we get to see Skye at her best, puzzle solving abilities, but we now get a glimpse into her past as we learn more about her time with Luc in New Orleans.
Throw into this mixture the two men that she is currently juggling and you can quickly see that Skye is heading for disaster. Can she keep this up? Can she clear Luc’s name?
