Well, I have to say that my first week at the new job was great. These people are wonderful to work with. The MRI tech had barely even peeped about his schedule one day and then he apologized for being mean. I didn’t think it was mean in any way. All he said was that he wanted his schedule thinned out. In my opinion, he didn’t even yell it. Yet, he felt bad because he knew how busy we were and he felt that it was wrong of him to ask. When he actually had every right to ask.
The girls are great there. I went out to lunch with Carol 3 times this week. She wasn’t there on Monday so I stayed in and ate my frozen dinner. Besides my BIL was eating lunch at the same time. So I ate with him. Then I went to his house after work to hang out with my sister Debbie. Tuesday, Carol and I went to McD’s. Tuesday night I went to the movies with my sister Brenda. We saw “The House of D” sneak preview with David Duchovny and Robin Williams. It was a great movie. If you go to see it, bring some tissues. There were a few places that I cried. Wednesday was my late night. So I didn’t have to go in to work until 10am. It was nice to be able to sleep in. Since I came in so late, I had to eat lunch late. So I ate another frozen dinner. Thursday, I went to lunch with Carol again. We went back to McD’s. That night, Brenda and I went to another sneak preview. This time it was for “King’s Ransom”. That movie was ok. I am glad that I didn’t pay for it. If it came on TV, I might watch it again. Yesterday, Carol and I went to grab some pizza for lunch.
Yesterday, I had a major case of deja vu. I am not talking about hazily remembering a dream about what was going on. I am talking about I clearly remember the dream about it. Plus I remember going into Dr. T’s office and telling Joan the dream. I remember Joan pleading for me not to quit when I told her I dreamt that I worked someplace else. At least I know that I ended up being where I was supposed to be. It was funny. My desk and Dulce’s desk are back to back. We had turned around and were talking. The person on the phone that she was holding for came back. So she put her hand on my arm to let me know to hold on. Carol came in and told us to stop holding hands.
Our center manager went on vacation as of Wednesday. One of the other center managers came in for a few hours each day to make sure things ran smoothly. Well, on Friday she asked how long I had been working there. She knew that I was new, but didn’t know when I was hired. So I told her that I just started on Monday. She was shocked. She thought I had been working there longer then that with how quickly I was picking up on things.
